Today's picture is of my niece and nephew. Well, kind of, they are canines. But they are my brother (Alex) and his wife's (Jen) dogs, so that kind of makes them my niece and nephew, right? The boxer was a wedding gift from a friend of theirs and is named Bruiser (after the dog in the movie Legally Blonde). The small Chihuahua
was also a gift from the same friend earlier this year. Well, I guess it's too late to name him after the Chihuahua in Legally Blonde. No, his name is Frank. That's Jen in the picture trying to get them to behave for the picture.

So today was filled with activity. At 8 AM I get a text message from my future mother-in-law, Kim, telling me to check in with Dean (future father-in-law) because he's on his way to the hospital. Kim is in Cambodia, which is why she's asking me to see what's going on. So I call Dean and his neighbor is over to help him get ready to go to the ER. I rush to get ready and hop in my car to meet them there. After a some tests, it is discovered that he has a small bowel blockage. Anyways, since I spent the whole day in the hospital and was planning on spending the night, today's picture is of my bed. Looks comfy, doesn't it? Don't let it fool you!

Yes, it looks like another cat day. Here is a picture of Toby trying to help me study. How helpful of him.

And here's another of him looking at me like how can you resist me? Snuggling with me is much more fun than studying!

Today's picture is of my cat, Oliver. Okay, again there are two pictures. The second is of my other cat Toby. Don't be surprised when you see lots of picture of them. I have a feeling they will be my back-up subjects when I run out of ideas for pictures.

So this first picture is kind of staged. Well, as staged as you can with a cat. Most mornings as I shower, he waits on my vanity for me to come out and pet him. He settles himself in the sink when I start petting him. Knowing that he would probably do this, I had my camera in the bathroom waiting for him to do this so I could take a picture of it. No, I don't normally keep a camera in the bathroom.

This second picture might turn some of you off, so consider this your warning. As I was petting and taking a picture of Oliver, Toby came into the bathroom and hopped on the toilet for a drink of water. This isn't a first for him either, but I wasn't really planning on documenting it. But I guess I just did.

What's tomorrow? Another cat picture? Stay tuned.

Here is my first picture. Okay, so it's two pictures. The first picture is of a glass of Diet Coke with vanilla syrup. I spent 8 hours today in a TGIFriday's drinking these and studying for my fourth actuary test. Okay so really 4 of the hours were spent studying and the other four were spent eating and chilling with my sister-in-law, Jen.

Then I decided maybe the better picture would be of the restaurant sign, but that's kind of boring.

Welcome to 365 Days with Tina. I'm taking a challenge this year to take a picture a day. This is where I plan to post each picture, along with a description of why I took it. This was started by one of my friends and she has started a Yahoo group, so if you're interested in joining us, please let me know and I will get you an invite to the group. My second personal challenge is to take the pictures with an actual camera, as opposed to my cell phone. The downfall of this is that the transferring of the pictures to my computer. I'm very bad at this, so there may be a couple of days in between posts, though each post will have the date of when the picture was taken.
